Returning to Brighton this month is the UK’s largest free yoga festival. Brighton Yoga Festival was originally set up to teach those in the city who were not aware of the benefits of yoga. Now in its fifth year, the event brings some of the very best teachers in yoga, therapy and meditation to the Sussex County Cricket Ground on the weekend of Sat 14 – Sun 15 Jul.
The event welcomes both seasoned yogis and complete beginners, with the weekend including large dedicated spaces for beginners, specialist yoga, a kids’ area and retail zone. There will also be live music, talks and workshops, kids’ entertainment and plenty of activities to get stuck into.
With huge support from the yoga community, Brighton & Hove City Council and many local businesses, this year’s festival is set to be the biggest yet. Brighton Yoga Foundation has also established outreach projects, continuing the organisation’s year-round charitable objectives.
To keep the festival free for years to come, the Brighton Yoga Foundation is also launching a crowdfunder from Tues 3 Jul to raise funds for the event.
The 2018 programme is now available for download. Download the programme for the 2018 Brighton Yoga Festival for a donation (minimum £1) to help cover the production costs and keep the festival free: https://www.brightonyogafoundation.org/2018-festival/
