After last month’s shock announcement that Pride 2011 in Preston Park will be a ticketed event, we can now reveal the ticket price open to residents and the general public.

Tickets go on sale from April starting with a two week offer only available to BN postcodes at the reduced price of £8.50 per ticket. After this they go on general release for £12.50. Then closer to the event and on the day priced at £17.50. High ticket sales are expected so it’s advised to get in their early.

The theme this year is OUT OF THIS WORLD, which was chosen by locals at The Zone bar, giving us a great line-up of events and a big platform for this year’s charity fundraising schemes.

The controversial idea was in response to rising costs and local pressure from Brighton Council and complaints about safety and litter from last year’s event.
