Brighton Digital Festival

01 - 24th September

All month experience Brighton Digital Festival with a line-up of exciting events including ‘A Machine to See With’ where you can star in your own heist move (see separately). We also have a Mini Maker Faire at the Brighton Dome offering the chance to hold the future in your hands with some of the latest inventions and the chance to play with robots. At the Duke of Yorks on the 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th September, your favourite technology-busting movies including Inception, Tron, Ghost in the Shell and the Terminator are on show. Whilst for six weeks, The Lighthouse presents a major exhibition with digital artists and filmmakers drawing together three installations that examine our relationship with the Sun.

If that wasn’t enough, boost your adventurous side with a 21st Century style Brighton QR Treasure Hunt, 24th September. Just grab your smartphone and search for QR codes hidden around the city. For some cheeky laughs, a host of comedians are also at the ready with The Laughing Geek, 21st September and the Random Dance on 26th September exhibits some digital design with dynamic choreography. Finally, when you’re just about ready to hit the sack with Transformers, the Data is Nature exhibition, 30th September, will close the festival with a night of audio-visual delights.
