One of the highlights of the English summer takes place over three days at Goodwood each September. The Revival is a unique event, an authentic step back in time at one of the world’s most authentic racetracks, drawing thousands of fans of vintage cars and vintage fashion. It’s one of those events where you spend as much time watching the spectators as you do watching the action on the track and the cars in the paddocks.

2011 marks the 50th anniversary of the E-Type, that most quintessential of British sports car, and, fittingly, the Revival attracted one of the best collections of racing E-Types ever assembled: multi-million pound cars driven in anger by racers of the calibre of ex F1 winner Gerard Berger and Red Bull designer, Adrian Newey.

Fifty years on, the E-Type is still - as Enzo Ferrari once famously declared - the most beautiful car in the world. Judging by the crowds admiring it at Goodwood, there are a lot of people who think it still is!
