Funk and Soul Weekender have released the full line up for their 3 day musical spectacular.
Grammy Award winning and five time Brit nominated Soul ll Soul will take the stage alongside Submotion Orchestra, Werkha, Gilles Peterson, Greg Wilson, Mr Thing and The Mouse Outfit. Dan Ayler will perform with Tenderlonious and Jeen Bassa.
They will join funk and soul superstar George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, The Sugarhill Gang, Omar, Crazy P Soundsystem, Norman Jay, Mr Scruff and Jordan Rakei.
It is the second year of the weekender, following a sold out debut. It will bring big brass sounds, hiphop beats, future soul, tropical, Afrobeat and disco to the South Coast for a weekend of non-stop party. The event in Camber Sands will run from 12 – 15 May and will accommodate 3000 partygoers.
In the breaks between major music names, there will be a whole host of other activities. Head down to disco yoga, northern soul dance class, Groovy Hula, Nightspot cinema and even a tropical pool party!
The festival will be working with Mind, Lovespecs and Support Act charities in a bid to push feel good values as far as possible, creating more awareness and opportunities for the projects which need it most.
Weekend tickets will cost between £119-£160 per person and include a festival pass and chalet accommodation.
