I’ve never heard of anybody not knowing who Super Mario is or about the adventures that each game always entail. Yep, that’s right, Super Mario is back but this time only for the newest games console Nintendo Switch. Similar to ‘Super Mario 64’ and ‘Super Mario Sunshine’, this latest game ‘Super Mario Odyssey’ is primarily operated as an open-ended, exploration-based gameplay. Of course, Princess Peach has gone missing again and needs rescuing from Bowser, who is planning to marry her. Positioned as Mario, the player must attempt to rescue the princess, travelling around different kingdoms, undergoing various tasks. The game features cooperative play, so why not throw it back to your childhood days with this new Super Mario game.

Back for the ninth year running, with another dance off extravaganza, ‘Just Dance 2018’ will see those only willing to dance in the living room, away from a strangers gaze dance once more. ‘Just Dance’ is a rhythm game series, enabling the players to mimic the on-screen choreography to a song from the various songs available to chose from. This years will include songs from the likes of Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, Selena Gomez, Beyonce and so many more musicians, with some new hits as well as some old classics. It’s time to get those dance moves out once more.

Calling all wrestling fans, WWE is back with another professional wrestling game. Similar to its antecedents, ‘WWE 2K18’ is a professional wrestling game, where the player wrestles an opponent of their choice, allowing the player to place them in a certain spot. Only this time around, eight wrestlers will be allowed to be in the ring at one time, unlike previous where only six could be (Nintendo Switch version will only support six at a time.) With new skills, mechanics, finishers and elimination performances, it’s not one to miss.

WOLFENSTEIN II: THE NEW COLOSSUS

Wolfenstein is an upcoming first-person shoot action-adventure video game. Following the events of the previous game, where the Nazi’s won the second world war. This time, the game is set in 1961, in the Nazi occupied America, where William “B.J.” Blazkowicz and the militant American resistance are trying to rebel against the Nazi Regime. New weapons and new game mechanics will appear and be introduced. If you like action-adventure games, this is the one to play.
