Munich’s latest release capably commences with an enticing fragility. The sound of desolate raindrops sequentially progresses into a melodic downpour where you can almost feel the pounding of lead-man Slade’s penetrating vocals. Check out the video, and you’ll connect with his expansive eyes and alluring gestural narration.
‘It’s ok to be afraid, it’s ok to walk away’ makes me want to do just the opposite while the band’s melodious accuracy becomes almost hypnotic.
As it hits the three minute mark, Slade’s voice intensifies, lashing guitars stimulate and drums magnify. Anthemic individuality shines through this first-class thunderstorm all day long, and believe you me, there’s absolutely no need for an umbrella. Simply gorgeous.
