2012 is here with a bang, and there’s no better way to shake off those winter blues than with a booming knees up at the Concorde 2.
Chemtrails present their official opening party for 2012, on Saturday 14th January, with an unbelievable line up of some of the biggest and best names in Drum & Bass and Jungle
Leading this illustrious field is the godfather of all things breakbeat: LTJ Bukem.
As one of the the original innovators in the development of jungle, from its early status as an esoteric offshoot of techno into the global phenomenon it is now, Bukem tirelessly furthered the cause though promotion of up and coming artists on his Good Looking/Looking Good labels, a multitude of classic tracks and his legendary Speed night in London.
LTJ Bukem is one of electronic music's maverick personalities, he’s not shy of spinning a few crowd pleasers, but he’s in he’s element when he gets to play slightly more jazzy and experimental tracks with the aim of educating and inspiring his audiences.
The roster for the evening reads like a who’s who of original breakbeat innovators, with Grooverider Ratpack and Trevor Fung all briniging their unique styles into the mix. Also performing duties on the night is long time Bukem collaborator, MC Conrad
