Pub festival returns with local music and ales

OXFEST 2018: The Sussex Ox Music and Beer Festival returns for its fourth year on the weekend of Fri 3 – Sun 5 Aug, with an event set to be even bigger and better than before.

As well as music across the weekend, there will be barbecue food provided by the Sussex Ox’s own farm and a huge selection of the finest real ales and cider – not forgetting a mojito bar for those looking to really soak up the summer.

This year, there is an advance special offer available, where festivalgoers can purchase a wristband for £10 entitling them to a BBQ meal plus four half pints of their choice (an absolute steal when you consider standard Brighton prices!).

The line-up at this family-friendly festival includes promising local acts such as The Mountain Firework Company, Me and the Moon, Apple of my Eye, Alfie Neale, Warsaw Radio, The FB Pocket Orchestra, Swing de Nador, The Blackjacks, The Leaky Buckets and more. Well worth the trip out of town!
