WIN TICKETS: TOM’s Film Club at The Old Market

The Old Market (or, TOM) has got to be one of the best places to see a show in Brighton & Hove. With such a consistently diverse programme and an impressive track record of live music, breathtaking theatre and innovative comedy, if you love your arts and culture in an intimate atmosphere, The Old Market is the place for you.
This summer brings us the wonderful TOM’s Film Club, where you’ll be able to experience all your favourite cult cinema classics in the venue’s very own film club. The movie buffs down at TOM began their year with a David Bowie season (of course), and even a swoon-inducing Valentine’s Day screening of Some Like it Hot. Now, they’ve launched into a fantastic summer season that began with two David Lynch movies (with a fancy dress Twin Peaks afterparty!), and a back to back screening of Alien and Aliens, plus two classic musicals and a trio of Ken Loach films all coming up.
This month, the Ken Loach classics I, Daniel Blake (15 Aug), Kes (16 Aug) and The Wind That Shakes the Barley (17 Aug) will all be showing. BN1 Magazine and The Old Market have teamed up to offer three of our lucky readers a pair of tickets each to one of these August film screenings.
To be in with a chance of winning, simply answer the following question:
Which of these films has NOT been shown at TOM’s Film Club?
A) Alien
B) Some Like It Hot
C) Toy Story 2
Send your answer including your name, address and telephone number to: with ‘FILM CLUB’ as the subject header. Terms and conditions apply (
Winners will be chosen and notified by Fri 11 Aug.
