Once again Otherplace Productions will be bringing The Warren back to St Peter’s Church as part of Brighton Fringe. This much-loved pop-up is renowned for high-quality performance, and its lively atmosphere has made it a major destination at the Fringe. A self-contained mini-festival, it offers four venues, two bars, a coffee shop, food stands, kids’ area and local traders. This year’s programme brings over 775 theatre, comedy, music, cabaret, spoken word and family shows across 32 days. These include Dracula on Fri 5 – Sun 7 May, an irreverent, funny, and fast-paced retelling of the classic Gothic story. The first Romanian immigrant strikes fear into the male establishment, with some surprising consequences. On Fri 5 – Sat 6 May, the award-winning Norwegian-American comedy duo Zach & Viggo return with another series of surreal and free-flowing vignettes. It’s an absurd trip through their wild imagination into the deepest, darkest depths of stupidity!
Otherplace and BN1 Magazine are offering one of our lucky readers a night out at The Warren on Sat 6 May. The winner will receive four tickets to Dracula at 6.35pm and four tickets to Zach and Viggo: Thunderflop – ensuring you begin your Brighton Fringe with a bang!
