A very special screening of A 100-Mile Conversation comes to Brighton on Fri 20 – Sat 21 Mar, as part of SICK! Festival.
In spring 2013 artists Nathan Burr and Louis Buckley walked the length of the South Downs Way, starting in Winchester and ending at Beachy Head. Along the way they walked and talked with everyone from farmers and psychologists to therapists and archaeologists to explore the connections between suicide, mental health, myth and landscape. This film documents the chain of conversations that took place over the nine-day journey.
Now the film is being screened in SICK! Festival’s specially created cinema space, based in a shipping container, in Jubilee Square.
A 100-Mile Conversation comes to The Screening Container , Jubilee Square Brighton, on Fri 20 (4pm – 7pm) – Sat 21 Mar (12pm – 4pm), as part of SICK! Festival
