After a series of angry complaints from fans A Christmas Carol is back for the third time after, much to audiences upset, they took a year off (simply ridiculous, I know). The Dicken’s classic show gets to the very heart of Christmas, enjoy a warm drink or even a mulled wine that will help get you on your feet for a dance with Scrooge as he journeys through the ghost story of Christmas. Together with Scrooge Gary Sefton, the Brighton based theatre group Truestory and immersive atmosphere of the Spire theatre in East Brighton, it is guaranteed to be a sell out show. Truestory are not shy of Spire and describe themselves as a ‘band of creatives who are passionate about story telling’. Around 7,000 adults, kids, boyfriends, girlfriends, mates, cousins and neighbours have seen this heart-warming production so far. The elongated space allows the cast to interact with the audience making the experience even more intricate and personal. Dicken’s wrote a Christmas Carol during the period when the British were exploring and re-evaluating past Christmas traditions. Make a new Christmas tradition for you and your family and grab tickets for this ghostly but joyous tale. Recommended for 6 years plus, some scary moments.
