Have you spotted this MASSIVE mural on the back wall of Fatto A Mano?
The street art, titled ‘Barz Simpson’ popped up in October and was completed in 7 hours, start to finish by Brighton and Hove artist Aroe. The artwork reveal on Instagram has received over 2,200 likes since it was posted. Aroe recreated a Digestor design with the help of Brighton artist Snub 23 who featured in the February edition of BN1 Magazine for their street art.
‘Barz Simpson’ was created to promote the new track of the same title by band, White Girl Wasted. The band is lead by Birmingham rapper SonnyJim but also features Brighton-based producer The Purist. The track also features rap legends MF DOOM, who sadly passed away in 2020 & Jay Electronica. The mask that Bart is wearing in the street art is a homage to MF Doom, as he wore a mask of the same design.
