Oxjam Brighton is returning once again on Sat 17 Oct with a full day packed with unsigned, local talent all in aid of Oxfam.

The latest news is that, following the U18 Battle of the Bands at Synergy Brighton last weekend, supported by New Rock Generation and Access to Music, 5 bands have been chosen to go through and play at The Final at the Pav Tav during the festival. They are as follows:

Cascades
Kool-Aid Acid Test

Moon by Metro
Alternate Function
Fighting the Decline

The next stage of the competition will be at 2pm at The Pavilion Tavern on Sat 17 Oct as part of the Takeover Festival.  Judges include Guy Lloyd and Talia French from JuiceFM and one lucky band will go on to win a slot to play at The Prince Albert later that day along with a free recording session at Access to Music.

The full line up at Under the Bridge has been announced featuring musicians of all ages ranging from 4 – 65! This stage will reflect the best of Oxjam with some of the most popular bands in Brighton including The Meow Meows and The Town of Cats playing alongside some of the city’s newest and youngest musicians with a creche and refreshments available.
