Close Quarter Productions and Theatre Reviva! bring a trio of works to Brighton Fringe
Close Quarter Productions and Theatre Reviva!, in association with Holofcener Ltd, are presenting three linked short plays at Brighton Fringe. Presented at Brighton’s Rialto Theatre on Mon 7 – Thurs 10 June, Weatherman, Still Dancers and An Occasional Cup of Tea (each approximately 35 minutes long) can be seen in pairs or all together as one complete work, After All These Years.
It’s comedy drama without a single mention of Covid, and that’s a promise…
Time has a habit of taking its revenges… and having the last laugh. Two men, two women. And a few closely guarded secrets. Alfred and Joan, Charlie and Marianne are two former showbiz couples who have stuck together through thick and thin, but just how well do they really know each other? Relationships can be a delicate balance of hope, desire, memory, regret and much more besides. It’s never too late for change, though – or is it?
Weatherman was presented at Brighton Fringe 2017 (“Outstanding comedy” – Fringe Review); Still Dancers and An Occasional Cup of Tea are both world premieres for Brighton Fringe 2021.
