Brighton charity, Our Sansar brings Comedy Rocks to Brighton’s Komedia, on Wed 3 Dec 2015. This stand-up comedy extravaganza will be compered by raconteur, bon-viveur and arguably the greatest UK-based French comedian, Marcel Lucont (pictured) and feature unique sets from top comedians including Simon Evans, Zoe Lyons, Michael Fabbri, Daniel Evans and Casual Violence.

All proceeds will go towards supporting the much-needed children’s home in Birgunj, Nepal, which provides vital shelter and education to vulnerable street children.

A dynamic and responsive volunteer-run charity, Our Sansar provides education, shelter and welfare to the most disadvantaged and vulnerable communities in Nepal. Our programmes focus on sustainability and empowerment of local communities.

Our Sansar aims to establish links between UK and Nepalese schools to facilitate cultural exchange and assist the most impoverished schools in Nepal. The charity runs a children’s home for street children to provide them with shelter, education, care and skills to build a happy future. It also trains local teachers to benefit a maximum amount of children

Our Sansar opened the children’s home in 2013 and currently cares for 16 children, with 4 others joining in the coming weeks. With over 150 children living on the streets of Birgunj and no other organisations in the region providing support, Our Sansar is vital to the protection and education of Birgunj’s homeless children.

So you can enjoy an evening of laughter and support Our Sansar at the same time. Tickets are just £10, and are available HERE

Comedy Rocks comes to Komedia, on Wed 3 Dec 2015, to raise funds for Brighton charity, Our Sansar.
