Could you become a Bright10 Runner in 2015?

New events company Runbase Limited have announced a new running event for Brighton & Hove: The Bright10. This 10 mile run is scheduled to take place on Sunday 18th October 2015, kick-starting the autumn 10 mile season. Bright10 was organised by Paul Bond and Gavin Stephens, active athletes and event managers of the Brighton Half Marathon (2013 & 2014) as well as owners and managers of Runbase Limited.

The Bright10 will allow runners to experience Brighton in a new and exciting way, with the route showcasing the sights and landmarks that make Brighton so attractive to the general public.

Brighton is already a key location for running events, with the Brighton Marathon, Brighton Half Marathon, Brooks Brighton 10k and the Brighton and Hove Parkrun already taking place. The Bright10 will be a welcome addition to Brighton and Hove’s running portfolio. Paul expects “up to 10,000 runners [to] take part in [the] first Bright10 event” and describes the race as “a perfect and very achievable challenge for many new and would-be runners.” Similarly, Gavin adds “we look forward to welcoming the running community to Brighton and Hove for what is set to be the most colourful event on the 2015 UK road running calendar.”

Registration for the Bright10 is now open. Visit to sign up today. Entry is just £27 for an affiliated place and £29 for an unaffiliated place.
