In May, Sussex based print, design and marketing specialist Evonprint launched its Sussex wide competition to find the country’s customer service star, calling out for residents to nominate someone who has gone that extra mile to offer them top service.
Evonprint is delighted to announce that Sophie Cook, the manager of Pets Corner in Shoreham, is the first ever winner of their Sussex Service Stars Awards! Hove resident, Caroline Maguire nominated Sophie after her dog, Tessy, became ill following a sudden attack of Pancreatitis. Caroline’s King Charles Spaniel was still in a lot of pain despite being discharged from the emergency vet- little did Caroline know that the food recommended by her vet was causing the problems.
Caroline visited Pets Corner a few weeks later and described Tessy’s symptoms to store manager Sophie Cook, who recommended a different brand of dog food. Within just two days, Tessy was already showing signs of recovery!
Caroline was not only impressed by Sophie’s experience, but also her expertise knowledge. ‘I was amazed at how something as simple at dog food could cause Tessy so much pain and discomfort. Sophie at Pets Corner did such an amazing job and I’m certain that without her knowledge and expert recommendation, Tessy would not be with me today.’
Steve Rowland, Managing Director at Evonprint, had a lot of fun reading all the stories of great customer service. He reveals that Evonprint ‘will be choosing another Sussex Service Star in November’ and encourages everyone to get nominating the people who make a real difference to their customer experience.
