Exclusive London eatery The Ivy has unveiled plans for its first ever Sussex-based restaurant prior to its launch this spring.
Set in the heart of Brighton, The Ivy in the Lanes is to be located in a historic, grade II listed building, in Ship Street.
With extensive renovations underway (the building used to home a post office), much interest has gathered on what the finished restaurant may look like.

The Ivy in the Lanes will feature a chic and cosy restaurant, striking central bar and private dining room seating up to 20 guests, offering an ideal space for those celebrating a birthday or wishing to host a stylish working lunch.
Notable features will include artwork inspired by the local area, an onyx bar, pendant lighting, marble floor tiles, polished parquet panel flooring and a mixture of leather banquettes and bar stools – all creating a stylish, yet laid-back environment for guests to enjoy.

The Ivy Collection’s first coastal site will be set over 6,000 sq.ft. and will have approximately 240 covers.
Situated within the historic Lanes area, The Ivy Brighton will be open seven days a week, offering sophisticated and friendly all-day dining to local businesses, residents, shoppers and visitors alike. As with its sister sites including The Ivy Soho Brasserie and The Ivy Royal Tunbridge Wells, The Ivy in the Lanes will offer a selection of all-encompassing menus, serving breakfast, weekend brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, light snacks, bespoke cocktails and dinner.
