Here comes a mind-meltingly massive game to keep us all up way too late. Developed by the tiny, independent Hello Games, we’re about to be faced with the task of exploring 18 quintillion planets. Each are generated using universe-wide laws that are applied consistently for every player. This area is so big it could take months to visit your mate’s discoveries. The loose aim is to explore from the edge of known space to the centre, which’ll take mining, trading, navigating and surviving. That’s if you can be bothered. There are no set goals within this bright and colourful game, just millions of worlds to visit and thousands of people to interact with. The rest is up to you.
