Hang out with Manu Delago Handmade

Patterns is a venue where groundbreaking and eclectic music is always on the bill, and the entertainment on Fri 2 Oct will be no exception. The world’s leading Hang player and prodigal producer Manu Delago will be bringing his sound to the seafront on his ‘Silver Kobalt’ tour.

Besides playing in her band, Manu has been described as ‘an amazing percussionist’ by none other than Björk. Other famous fans include Nitin Sawhney, Jamie Cullum and I-D Magazine, who have all championed his ‘compelling’, ‘mesmerising’ and ‘mercurial’ sound.

The London-based, Austria-born artist and his live outfit, Manu Delago Handmade, are guaranteed to impress with beautiful guest vocals, electronic and acoustic soundscapes and unrivalled talent in drumming and percussion. Also featuring an experimental light show, this performance will be a kaleidoscopic audio-visual feast for the senses.

Plus, support comes from Brighton talent J-Felix. Fresh from supporting the legendary Roy Ayers and George Clinton, the local artist will be showcasing his electro funk, soul and hip-hop beats to get you grooving.

Manu Delago comes to Patterns on Friday 2nd October.
