The Sloan Clinics is a skin, wellness and aesthetic clinic bringing all the latest treatments from Harley Street down to the coast!

Guests celebrated the launch of the new clinic on 15 August with music, a live demo of treatment, nibbles and bubbles. There was also a raffle including prizes of dermal filler, Botox, IV infusion and skincare products given away. There’s still a £350 treatment to be won in their competition. To enter, go to the flowery selfie space outside the clinic on Duke Street, take a selfie and tag #thesloanclinics on social media. Whoever gets the most likes wins.

The clinic is owned by Dr Emma Sloan, who’s a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, practising GP and a consultant in Urgent Care in A&E. “I’ve always done aesthetics as my specialism. I started about seven years ago. It’s so different from my role as a GP and the variation excites me. A lot of GPs have burnouts, this takes you out of the consultation room and allows you to treat people holistically.” As well as working in the NHS, Dr Sloan is also a trainer for leading international aesthetics training academy Derma Medical.

Dr Sloan said in her speech she’s proud to bring all her knowledge and skills back home. “Brighton has always had a really special place in my heart because I was born in the hospital down the road, I went to Brighton & Hove High School and I studied medicine at Brighton & Sussex University, so it actually feels like I’m coming home. It’s lovely to be here.

“I’ve been able to learn loads of new exciting treatments whilst working up in Harley Street and I’ll be able to bring all of these new and exciting products, techniques and procedures down to Brighton.”

Celebrity client and party guest, Jason Burrill has had IV treatment in the Brighton clinic and felt it was beneficial to keep him fit and well. The Big Brother 2016 winner and body double in films said: “You can have it for vitamins, proteins, hair loss and for someone who has a deficiency it’s perfect. I feel a million times better after, anything you’re short of in the body. Get it done by someone who’s got the skill and knows how to do things.”

Another treatment offered at the clinic is Dracula therapy which involves drawing your blood, separating it and using it as an injectable anti-ageing treatment. Dr Sloan said: “It ticks all the boxes of providing a great treatment; with aesthetic and medical purposes.”

“People can be guaranteed a very personalised service; all treatment is confidential. I’m a medical doctor so I abide by medical codes of practice, there’s no pressure to go ahead with treatment on the day and they’ll always be reviews and follow-ups according to best process.”
