Comedian Joe Wells believes that you should treat all people with love and compassion, and he’s trying to be less angry. All of this is a little more difficult when a quarter of the country voted for UKIP. As part of Brighton Fringe, Joe Wells will be bringing his show ’10 Things I Hate About UKIP’ to Caroline of Brunswick on Sat 30 May.

’10 Things I Hate About UKIP’ is the follow up to Joe’s last politically driven, critically acclaimed comedy show ‘Night of the Living Tories’. And where many comedians inevitably end up angry and dark when discussing political issues (admittedly it’s hard not to), Joe is able to keep his material intelligent, sharp and never loses sight of the fact he’s first-and-foremost a comedian, not a political entity.

Annoyingly talented considering his age, Joe Wells already has a list of comedy awards to his name and has toured alongside heavy hitters like Alexei Sayle. His appearance at Caroline of Brunswick provides the perfect opportunity to see one of the finest young political comics on the circuit at the start of his career.
