Sea Life Brighton is set to be transformed with the global debut of its interactive attraction Jurassic Seas – opening this February half-term. Aquatic dinosaurs and ancient creatures will descend on the aquarium with state-of-the-art technology tanks providing the opportunity to get up close and personal with them.
Using cutting edge motion sensor technology, visitors will be invited to feed the deadly Plesiosaurus, test the patience of the beastly Liopluradon and examine the lethal teeth of the mighty Megalodon.
This world-first installation features:
Nine interactive activities with the digital aquatic dinosaurs
Real-life Jurassic creatures including the Nautilus and Cuttlefish
Themed activities such as Dino Twister and Design a Dino
The opportunity to unearth real fossils from the Jurassic period

The world’s oldest operating aquarium, open to visitors for more than 140 years, Sea Life Brighton is home to more than 2,500 creatures including sharks, turtles, seahorses, rays and an anaconda. Highlights include feeding demonstrations throughout the day, an interactive rock pool and the fantastic 360 degree Ocean Tunnel.
Sea Life Brighton also offers visitors the opportunity to experience the marine world from the unique perspective of a glass-bottomed boat – the first aquarium in the UK to do so. A popular attraction with visitors of all ages, Sea Life Brighton was named ‘The Best Place to Visit’ at this year’s Brighton and Hove Business Awards, testament to its enduring charm and appeal.
Jurassic Seas will officially open on Sat 14 Feb 2015. Sea Life Brighton is open every day from 10am – 5pm (last admission one hour before), except Christmas Day. Tickets are priced from £9.95 per person.
