Brighton & Hove Buses is encouraging everyone to make the most of the magical countdown to Christmas and go out and have some fun thanks to their Kids Travel Free offer, which runs across the bus company’s whole network every weekend in December.
Children 16 and under pay nothing when accompanied by a fare paying adult in the weekends leading up to Christmas.
“We are getting into the festive spirit and helping families save time and money in the lead up to Christmas,” says Brighton & Hove and Metrobus Managing Director Ed Wills. “You can catch the bus whether you’re visiting the Christmas lights, shopping for presents, going to Santa’s grotto or ice skating at the Pavilion.
“Catching the bus means you can forget about driving in stressful traffic and hunting around for a parking spot when you arrive. We are also encouraging people to shop locally and think about the environment when they travel. So let the bus take the strain and enjoy a little Christmas present from us.”
The dates of Kids Travel Free are Sat 4 – Sun 5, 1Sat 1 – Sun 12, Sat 18 – Sun 19 and 26 Dec 2021. Up to three children can travel free when accompanied by an adult. The offer is not valid on night buses. The usual ID requirements apply for those aged 14 and 15 years old.
