Head on down to the Blind Tiger on Fri 11 April and help raise the much-needed funds for 2014’s Kemp Town Carnival, one of Brighton’s longest running and most loved street festivals.
The Carnival brings together the local community for a day of fantastic music, street theatre, incredible food, arts and crafts, children’s entertainment, and fun and games throughout the day.
King Lagoons Flying Swordfish Dance Band will be bringing their psychedelic, Afro-Latin dance grooves, to entertain the crowds. Fusing African, Brazilian and Latin rhythms, together with mind bending guitar riffs and funkadelic bass lines, they’re a pure assault on the senses.
Then 25 piece drumming troupe Barulho will be taking over the floor, with some hot Samba Reggae Funk.
They specialise in thunderous and infectious rhythms, breaks and heart thumping beats.
Radio Giramundo and Robin D.Rich will be on the decks throughout the night supplying the finest in World music.
