Annual London festival Le Beat Bespoké will be celebrating its tenth edition this Easter. Le Beat Bespoké is an annual indoor festival at 229 The Venue in London, promoted by the newuntouchables.com – spotlighting 21st Century Modernist & Sixties inspired underground music culture.There is also a series of sought after Compilation LPs with selections from DJ Dr Robert, picked from the dance ‘floorshakers’ of various NUTs events that compliment this wonderful, inclusive Event!I Starting from Thursday 2nd April, the indoor festival will be housing live acts such as Kaleidoscope (UK), Wolf People and the hotly anticipated return of Glenn Campbell’s MISUNDERSTOOD who were championed by John Peel throughout his entire career.
Shortly before his death, in an interview with Index Magazine, Peel stated “If I had to list the ten greatest performances I’ve seen in my life, one would be The Misunderstood at Pandora’s Box. My God they were a great band!”
However, Le Beat Bespoké doesn’t just have live music to offer with a dynamic DJ line-up from across Europe booked sure to delight any in attendance.
Live bands include Glen Campbell’s Misunderstood, Kaleidoscope (UK), Wild Records revue feat Gizzelle & The Rhythm Shakers, Wolf People, The Loons, Les Gry Grys, Fogbound, The Magnectic Mind and more TBA.
