Liz Harwood exhibition comes to the Marina

On Fri 25 May, at the incredible venue of the Barge at Brighton Marina, an art exhibition will be held with Liz Harwood, a talented contemporary artist with a love of the sea, exhibiting her many canvasses that beautifully capture the energy of the ocean, sailing and calmer beach scenes.

Built in 1921, the Barge was relaunched in the summer of 2017 as a community and youth hub available for hire, and with the vast amount of space and beautiful interior, makes for the perfect area to hold such an exhibition.

The new collection of FAMARA interiors and accessories, which are created using designs from original artwork will also be on show during the exhibition. The Marina makes a stunning backdrop for the exhibition and should only enhance the overall experience.

You will be welcomed with a glass of champagne when you arrive and given the opportunity to wander through the spectacular craft dated back from the 1920’s! The Barge now has over 3,500 square feet and has been used to support community, youth, art and cultural projects in the past.

Free parking is available only a few metres away from the Marina, at the multi-story car park, and right next several stunning restaurants overlooking the Marina. The perfect way to spend your May bank holiday weekend!
