Mumford & Sons have been announced as the Main Stage headliners for Reading & Leeds Festival. Just four years after performing on the NME/BBC Radio 1 Stage, Mumford & Sons (above) return to the festival as the headliners.
Joining Mumford & Sons at the festival will be Royal Blood, Bastille, deadmau5, supergroup Rebel Sound (formed of Chase & Status, Rage, David Rodigan and Shy FX), Catfish and The Bottleman, years & Years, Wolf Alice, Pretty Vicious, Jack Garratt and Hannah Wants (below). These acts are in addition to those already announced: Metallica, Jamie T, Pierce The Veil, Wilkinson, Run The Jewels, Refused and Manchester Orchestra.
Festival boss Melvin Benn says he can’t wait for this year’s festival: “The Reading & Leeds line-up is already shaping up to be one of the best ever and I’m looking forward to revealing the third headliner and even more great artists soon.”
