New gym opens at Brighton & Hove Jewish Community

Just a few months ago, after three years of construction, Brighton & Hove Jewish Community (BNJC) opened their doors. Their aim is to provide outstanding facilities and events for the entire city to enjoy. While the BNJC’s mission is to attract and celebrate the Jewish community in the city with a Synagogue, Kosher dining, and a Jewish Nursery, the vibrant hub offers other leisure facilities for all to use.

The latest opening is their brand new gym in collaboration with Pro-Fitness Academy.

The gym is clean, modern and boasts brand new equipment. Adding the gym as a facility within BNJC really allows the space to be a lifestyle experience. You will find all of your wants and needs in one location. On your visit to BNJC go to the gym, then enjoy a lovely healthy breakfast in their cafe, attend the Synagogue, do some work in the co-working area, and attend one of their events all in a day!

Members and residents (BNJC also has 45 homes on-site their hub) can use the gym from 7am to 10pm. There is high-end strength training equipment and a wide variety of cardio machines including treadmills, rowers, bikes and a ski erg. All of this has been expertly designed by Pro-Fitness Academy. The biggest perk to training at BNJC gym is you are guaranteed an exclusive experience.

Gym membership starts from £29, or a day pass can be bought for £10. While you are free to train solo, Pro-Fitness Academy also delivers a diverse range of classes. Have a go at yoga, pilates, HIIT or core training. Or, there are elite-level personal trainers, health professionals and wellbeing practitioners to help you on your fitness journey.

BNJC will be running free taster days. You can also have a tour of the space and trial run the membership before you commit. Anyone is welcome!

After your workout, enjoy shakshuka, fresh orange juice, or eggs on toast in the restaurant area. They are currently open 8am-2pm Sun-Fri. A deli, shop and all day menu celebrating the very best of Brighton and Jewish cuisine is a near-future endeavour to look out for.

Also at BNJC is a co-working space, for which you need a separate membership to use. Plus, in September, the brand new Montessori nursery is set to open. All are welcome to benefit from the facilities on-site and embrace a true sense of community. To keep up to date with all the latest facility and event news, follow @bnjcbrighton.
