Oliver’s Brighton hosts an Auction in aid of Sussex Homeless Support

Oliver’s Brighton is an award-winning, little wizarding shop, brimmed with everything Harry Potter related. Regularly attracting fans from across the country, it has truly captured the imagination of fans and holds very high status within the Potter-verse. Located on Brighton’s Trafalgar Street, within the North Laine area, it is becoming a must-visit for the thousands of tourists that visit the area every year.

With such a huge array of original artworks, the shop has hosted a month-long exhibition at Jubilee Square’s My Brighton Hotel. The shop will be showcasing the pieces until the end this week and will conclude in an auction of special pieces at the hotel’s award-winning cocktail bar, Merkaba Bar this Friday, the 5th of July. The auction is included in My Brighton hotel’s cultural program, which was set up to highlight the city’s unique creativity, collaborating with local businesses, artists and charities.

All of the proceeds from the auction will be donated to Sussex Homeless Support. The homeless epidemic is a particular issue within the city of Brighton and Hove. With one in 69 people living in Brighton is currently in temporary accommodation or sleeping on the streets, the issue needs to be tackled. This is such a great cause to support, so head down to the auction and get bidding!

The Oliver’s Brighton Auction will be taking place this Friday at Merkaba Bar, Jubilee Square from 6pm.
