Brighton’s Otherplace, the award-winning producers of The Warren, are celebrating their 15th birthday with a special Golden Ticket competition

After having a massive impact on Brighton & Hove’s arts and entertainment scene, Otherplace are celebrating their 15th birthday. As part of the festivities, they’re giving away 15 Golden Tickets. Each recipient will receive 15 pairs of tickets, a £150 tab that can be used at all The Warren’s bars or Coffee Shack and an immensely useful Warren Card.

An award-winning production company based in Brighton, Otherplace established the legendary Upstairs at Three and Ten in 2007. They went on to create The Warren at Brighton Fringe, a mini festival which platforms the best in theatre, comedy and cabaret.

Fringe is postponed this year, but Otherplace and The Warren can’t wait to get everyone back together for great shows and good times. Until then, they want to celebrate the funny, exhilarating or bizarre moments which people have already had. To celebrate their 15th birthday, they want to hear about your favourite times with Otherplace.

All you need to do is get yourself a piece of plain paper and write the following message: ‘HAPPY 15TH BIRTHDAY OTHERPLACE #OTHERPLACE15’. Then use your smart phone or camera to record yourself talking through a favourite anecdote from previous The Warren/Otherplace years. Make sure you mention the year and complete your story in no more than 60 seconds. When you’ve done that, just post it on your Instagram or Facebook account and tag @warrenfestival and @otherplacebrighton to get yourself entered. The more imaginative, the better! The competition close on Sun 31 May. It’s as simple as that!
