An arts charity committed to making life better through dance, presents an exciting two day festival of dance this month for all ages and abilities.

Going forward from Sat 21 to Sun 22 Jul,  Our City Dances is an annual festival which aims to introduce the local community to The Dance Space (set to open in early 2020 in Circus Street) and is the inaugural flagship event of South East Dance’s The Welcome Project.

By working with community heroes from Queens Park and Tarner, South East Dance has programmed a weekend of performances, workshops, flashmobs and installations for people of all ages, abilities and interests.

Our City Dances includes: Tim Casson’s invitation to create The Dance We Made, workshops and performances from Streetfunk to Krump and Pop. As well as opportunities for the kids, with the children’s dance sessions and Second Hand Dance’s insect micro world of Grass. The festival will finish with a performance from Zoielogic Dance Theatre’s Ride, in Victoria Gardens.
