Visitors and locals can enjoy the brasserie’s delicious afternoon tea offerings within the stylish and relaxed setting of the restaurant. Whether you favour savoury or sweet, Champagne afternoon tea offers both, with delicious offerings from – truffled chicken brioche roll, smoked salmon on dark rye style bread with cream cheese and chives to warm fruited scones with Dorset clotted cream and strawberry preserve. For those with a sweet tooth, the crème brûlée doughnut does not disappoint, whilst the raspberry cheesecake and chocolate and salted caramel mousse are a crowd pleaser. Afternoon tea is served with a choice of teas, infusions, coffee and of course, a glass of Champagne. A number of tables are held back each day for walk-ins.
Champagne Afternoon Tea at The Ivy in the Lanes is priced at £26.50 per head, served from 3pm until 5pm.
Handmade Mysteries’ Immersive City Game
Brought to you by the makers of the highly acclaimed Lady Chastity’s Reserve escape room game… Operation Mindfall is Handmade Mysteries’ latest immersive experience offering. Using the latest augmented reality and geolocation technology, this pulse-raising two-hour street game combines the best elements of their twisted escape rooms with a classic treasure hunt, as you and your team (two to five players) must unlock clues hidden across the city. Can you and your team of covert operatives find the antidote and save the world? The game starts in the heart of the Lanes at The Walrus pub.
Handmade Mysteries’ Operation Mindfall ranges from £19 – £25 per person in time slots from 12.30pm until 3.30pm.
A day out at SEA LIFE
