Tipped by many to be the UK’s next big R&B singing sensation, Rosie Lowe’s name has been on tastemakers lips for a while. Having signed with Adele producer Paul Epworth’s Wolf Tone label, now it looks like the time has come for the 26-year-old from Devon who is about to release her much-anticipated debut album. After moving to South London, Rosie developed her ethereal vocal style while studying at Goldsmith’s University, alongside the likes of James Blake, who she cites as being one of her biggest inspirations. She went under the radar when she played The Great Escape in 2014 and now returns to Brighton for a headline gig at the Hope & Ruin where, backed by an all-girl band, she will be debuting songs from her new album.
Rosie’s album ‘Control’ is released on 19 February 2016.
