Lyndsey here from Connected Brighton, wishing you a Happy New Year and a big welcome to my new column, telling you all about what’s happening in Brighton from your local Social Concierge!
BN1 Magazine have teamed up with Connected Brighton to keep you updated on what events they have going on around the city that you can get involved in.
Not heard of Connected Brighton? They host bespoke events that bring people together and support local businesses. From Beginners Petanque, to Kayaking, fancy dinners, games nights and cocktail evenings. These small group premium experiences are designed to help you make new friends and expand your social network. Connected are supported by their fabulous sponsors Lawton & Dawe Property Specialists.
“January can be gloomy, so we have a range of events to help bring some joy to those dark winter nights and something for everyone whether you are doing Dry January, or Wet January.”
Founder Lyndsey says, “I’ll be doing Damp January and slowing it down, but not going as overboard as the festive season! Though I am excited to try the new dry bar Torstigbar, offering low and no alcohol drinks on George St in Kemptown, all the taste and none of the hangover – sign me up…”
Connected Brighton try and bring you events that you can’t get anywhere else, and this month they have the Showdance Experience with Charlie Oh La La, teaching those that attend a dance routine to The Greatest Showman! Plus there are Games Nights, Sunday Roasts, Brewery evenings and Wine & Cheese nights.
