Spilling the Beans on Nando’s new menu


You may have heard a little whisper on the streets that Nando’s has been working on some super secret updates to its menu. Well the rumours are true, and after the kind souls of Nando’s Duke Street opened its doors to some lucky queuers, competition winners and, luckily for me, a few oddball journalists; I’m here to blow the whistle on the new nosh.

Declared as a taste of African PERi-Dise (smart, guys) Nando’s are welcoming the Sunset Burger to its menu; chicken, melted cheese and some gloriously delicious smoked red pepper chutney, it’s made to look like the sun going down over the South African plains, which is actually where our beloved chicken hot-spot originates. It’s also got some spinach leaves to make you feel smug and healthy as you wolf down the burger, which, as always, is flavoured with your spice of choice and personalised with one of the many bottles of PERi-PERi.

The newnandos-1 addition, which makes itself at home on the new menu alongside Chicken Thighs and Humous on salads, (Nando’s seem to be loving the health kick) will be available nationwide from the 18th October, so get yourselves down to Nandos to see what all the fuss is about.
