Cycling Down Dementia – Alzheimer’s Research UK

Cycling Down Dementia is an online fundraising event. Dementia may affect more than half of us in some ways, but research can help to overcome the illnesses that cause dementia. This winter, ride 300 miles, 1,000 miles or a distance of your choice and raise £150 for life-changing dementia research for Alzheimer’s Research UK.

A Louis Dragonfly music event in memory of Louis Marley Smith. In conjunction with the charity As You Are, this tailored event is raising money to fund first aid mental health training and workshops to support young people in the local area. Join Albion in the Community for their charity quiz night at the American Express Community Stadium. Money raised will help fund their work across Sussex and there will also be a charity raffle on the night. Tickets cost £15 per person and include a pie and mash dinner.

Big Sleepout 2019

Join those brave souls for their Big Sleepout to get an insight into the challenges faced by those sleeping rough. The Big Sleepout is one of their annual fundraising events and is held in the grounds of Aldrington School, Hove from 7pm-8am. It’s a great way to raise awareness of homelessness and raise money through sponsorship.

Grab a Burger 4 Charity – Moyos Burgers Brighton and Rockinghorse Children’s Charity

Moyos burgers are giving away burgers – hundreds of them! In fact, they’re giving away 1,000 classic burgers, and 300 vegan burgers. And they’re inviting you to join this amazing ‘Grab a Burger’ Charity event on their opening dates. Join them to help raise funds in support of Rockinghorse, the phenomenal local children’s charity. For every burger they give, they welcome a small, donation as much as £1.

Charity Villains Vs Super Heroes Mixed Doubles Beach Volleyball

Join Yellowave Beach Sports as they raise some cash for the wonderful charity that they’re supporting this year – Winston’s Wish. Winston’s Wish supports children, young people and their families after the death of a parent or sibling, helping them to make sense of what’s happened and, in time, learn to live with their loss. So, come and join the fun and raise some cash by playing the sport you love. Upon entry they’ll allocate you as a hero or villain. And there will, of course, be a prize for best dressed player!

Total B*llocks 2 – Stay up Late Charity Fundraiser, ft Italia 90 & ASBO Derek, at Komedia

Stay Up Late’s annual fundraiser for their Gig Buddies project, enabling people with learning disabilities to have active social lives. A night of awesome live music featuring acts with and without learning disabilities. Stay Up Late are a Brighton based charity fighting for the right for people with learning disabilities to party. No funds raised will go to any marketing executives!

The Hope Charity Ball

The Grand Brighton is excited to host the third Brighton Chefs’ Table in support of Rockinghorse. This year’s event will see five of Brighton’s most talented chefs reunite in support of the charity. Guests will be served a festive-themed selection of dishes in the luxury hotel’s Empress Suite. There will also be a prize auction, with lots including private dining experiences with the five host chefs. All proceeds from the event will go towards funding support services at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton.

Club Tropicana Christmas are super excited to announce a spangly new venue for their annual party! Come dance the night away at The Circle Arts Centre for Funk the Format’s tropical, anti-Christmas shenanigans! Dress Code: Think Club Tropicana! (Golden pineapple awarded to the best dressed).

The Circle Brighton is a registered charity working with people coping with depression, anxiety and the variety of conditions caused by these. They also work towards providing fit-for-purpose supported living accommodation for the homeless.

Clothes Swap – What They Wore Store

Dig out your unwanted wares and bring them along to The Level Café for a special sustainable event hosted by What They Wore Store, and help raise money for local charity Pelican Parcels at the same time. How the Clothes Swap works: buy your entry ticket (£5); bring up to 10 items in good condition to swap; get one raffle ticket for each item you bring; use your raffle tickets to pick up new-to-you wares; one ticket = one item.

Children’s Charity Winter Concert
