Peacheyboo Kids is marking its own first birthday this month. To celebrate, the unique baby and toddler clothing store is holding a special clothes swap on Sun 22 Oct.
Local parents are invited to join them, swapping unneeded baby clothes and stories. The event is in support of two charities: Brighton’s Rockinghorse and Tommy’s – a research fund dedicated to reducing the number of miscarriages, stillbirth and premature births.
Recognising that they serve an incredible local community, the people at Peacheyboo wanted to open our store up as a place for sharing of various kinds, while supporting two great causes. Visitors will also get a one-off in-store discount of 20% on all new Peacheyboo clothing so that you can top-up on new stuff as well as exchange old ones. There’ll also be champagne and a cool crowd of mamas and papas.
The proceeds of the clothes swap will be donated to Tommy’s, while any clothes left from the event will go to Rockinghorse, a great children’s charity here in Sussex.
To participate, bring a minimum of three items to swap (please bring only what you would be glad to receive). This event is as much about swapping stories as it about swapping clothes so come with a mind to open-up and be ready to meet other new parents who may be going through similar things to you.
The Peacheyboo Kid‘s 1st Anniversary Clothes Swap event runs from 2pm-5pm on Sun 22 Oct 2017, at Peachyboo 20 Gardner Street, Brighton BN1 1UP
Tickets are £5. For more details, head to: www.peacheyboo.com
