Tap Takeover 2017

Tap Takeover are bringing more pints, more breweries and more pubs to beer lovers throughout the city. The South Coast’s biggest craft beer festival returns for its second year in Brighton.

Running from Fri 31 March – Sun 2 April, the event will include 14 international breweries partnering up with 14 Brighton pubs, featuring over 100 different craft beers. It is a collaboration between leading Brighton-based operator The Laine Pub Company and drinks distributor the Beer Collective.

Over 2,000 people attended this giant pub crawl last year with even more expected to join this time around. The organisers are offering 100 early bird tickets for just £10, which includes four beers, a swag bag and priority entry. Last year’s early bird tickets sold out in less than a week so beer lovers are advised to move quickly! Standard tickets will cost £15.

Laine Brew Co will be one of the exhibitors preparing a number of special brews and events for the weekend. Other brewers heading to the city represent some of the most innovative craft beer, some familiar favourites for last year alongside some new faces. Participating breweries include: Newcastle’s Wylam Brewery, Barcelona’s Edge Brewing, London’s Gypsy Hill and Croatia’s Garden Brewery alongside many more from around the UK.

Brighton Tap TakeoverThe festival hub will be North Laine Brewery, which will be showcasing beers from all of the breweries, alongside its own and those of its parent, Laine Brew Co. Other locations will be: Dead Wax Social, East Street Tap, The Earth & Stars, Hope & Ruin, The Victory, White Rabbit, The Black Lion, The Tempest, The Mash Tun, The Western, The Fountain Head, The Fiddler’s Elbow and Bath Arms.

Entertainment, music and food will be a big part of the weekend, with special performances and bespoke menus being created for the event.
