There’s no better way to end your weekend than by feasting on a scrumptious Sunday roast and where better to tuck into your meat and roasties than in God’s own county- home of the humble Yorkshire pudding.

Silversmiths, Sheffield
Nestled in the heart of the Steel City, Silversmiths are renowned for serving up modern British cuisine in a warm and relaxed setting, making it an ideal spot for your Sunday sit-down.
The piece de resistance is their 32-day aged salmon-cut beef that’s accompanied by a delicious selection of roast vegetables including greens, Dauphinoise potatoes and of course a giant Yorkshire pudding.
This Sheffield spot has also become a favourite Sunday lunch place for vegans; Silversmiths serve up a delicious pot roast cauliflower dish and if you’ve got room for dessert, you can enjoy a mouth-watering carrot cake made with dates, toffee, and walnuts.
Chophaus Bar and Grill, Leeds
For our next entry we head to Leeds, the capital of Yorkshire (depending on who you ask).
Chophaus Bar and Grill may be synonymous for magical steak and wine pairings during the week but when Sunday arrives guests are treated to a truly unique Sunday lunch bursting full of flavour.
Choose from corn-fed chicken, leg of Yorkshire lamb or even the Mexican-inspired five bean and blue cheese Wellington. All Sunday roasts dishes are served with an array of perfectly-cooked veggies including balsamic and honey carrots, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire puddings and lashing of homemade gravy!

Star Inn The City, York
Michelin-starred chef Andrew Pern cemented his status as a culinary genius when he opened the Star Inn at Harome. Now his flavours and ingredients have been transported from the countryside to the city following the opening of The Star Inn The City York.
Overlooking the River Ouse, this charming and elegantly-designed restaurant boasts a Sunday lunch menu featuring some of the finest locally-sourced seasonal ingredients. The showstopper is undoubtedly the Sirloin of Beef from Wilberfoss Farm, which goes down a treat when accompanied by some divine duck fat roasties and carrot and swede ‘stump’.
For dessert, Sunday lunch guests can choose from a range of delightful puddings that are guaranteed to satisfy your sweet cravings. Sunday lunch York has never tasted so good.
The Pine Marten, Beckwithshaw
For our next entry, we head to leafy Beckwithshaw, where Sunday lunch lovers will find The Pine Marten; a premium pub, bar and restaurant that promises diners an afternoon of relaxation and tasty foods.
Enjoy a range of traditional meats (including roast beef, belly pork or chicken) served with smoked beef dripping roasties and vegetables. Gravy enthusiasts are in for a real treat, smoother your plate with bottomless splashes of the thick stuff!

Shibden Mill Inn, Shibden Valley
Last, but certainly not least, we travel to a picturesque 17th-century inn located deep within the tranquil Shibden Valley near Halifax.
Shibden Mill Inn is an idyllic spot for food and drink, serving up an incredible Sunday roast all-year-round. The chefs use the freshest and finest seasonal ingredients to craft plates that conjure up the true taste of Yorkshire.
One quick look at the Sunday lunch menu and you’ll be spoilt for choice; diners can tuck into main roast dishes such as lamb, pork and sirloin of beef or if you’re in the mood for fish you can enjoy one of their fish specials, including battered haddock.
If you’ve saved some room for pudding, then try out their incredible Eton mess. Featuring strawberry, apple marigold and white balsamic flavours it’s absolutely to die for.
