The Big Hawaii! 1BTN Fundraiser heads to Rialto

An all-night 1BTN fundraiser, featuring some of the station’s favourite DJ’s and selectors across two floors, The Big Hawaii!  will be lighting up Brighton’s Rialto Theatre on Sat 2 Feb.

It’s happening because it also happens to be the 50th year since the birth of 1BTN radio boss Chris Galloway (Woodenhorse Provocateur / Soft Rocks).

Upstairs will see gems from Nancy Noise (below), Frankie Valentine (top) and Soft Rocks, while downstairs will be rocking to Roots Garden, Psycho Pab (Ex-Psychonauts and former man from UNKLE, Jayne Winstanley and Lee Janda (Finders Keepers)

Nancy NoiseThe fundraising part of this event is to aid an exciting expansion plan and continue the growth of Brighton’s acclaimed underground radio station, 1BTN. They’re looking to expand the studios and launch a dedicated local service – which will concentrate solely on Brighton & Hove’s community groups and their work.

Since launching in 2015, 1BTN has always worked closely with a number of local community organisations and charities, involving them directly within the 1BTN programme in addition to raising much needed funds for the cause.

The Big Hawaii! 1BTN Fundraiser comes to Rialto Theatre on Satu 2 Feb 2019
