Brighton Music Conference (BMC) has announced its Academy, student programme and its party lineups for the two-day event at the beginning of June.
The conference, which is taking place at Brighton Dome, on Fri 5 – Sat 6 June, has extensively grown its Academy programme, aiming at the next generation of DJs and music makers. The event has also expanded its networking events and nightlife schedule, which will take place across Brighton and include a free Under 18s party.
BMC has organised over 30 master classes with talks from YouTube, Beatport, JFB, Ableton, The Hydra, Hypercolour, Anjunabeats, PRS, Hospital, Rebekah and Loopmasters as well as artist showcases as part of the tech exhibition.
YouTube’s Academy workshop will be hosted by the company’s Audience Development Strategist, Olga Golab covering topics including how to optimise videos, drive longer viewing sessions and how to retain subscribers.
Meanwhile, professional hosts and panellists include Russ Yallop, Luke Solomon, Spotify’s Glenn McDonald, Mark Broadbent, Warner Music’s Anton Partridge, Judge Jules, Robert Owens, John Truelove, Deep House London’s Marcus Barnes, Ralph Moore from Mixmag, Back To Basics, Native Instruments and Involved management.
BMC ‘s2015 party events feature a range of world-class DJs and promoters, including Dave Clarke (pictured), Steve Lawler, Tom Demac, Nick Hoppner, Alex Banks, Max Wheeler, Wiggle, C-Soul, Robert Owens, SEFF, Phil Kieran, Rebekah, Ralf Kollmann, DIY, Alex Arnout, A.Skillz, Evil Nine, Back To Basics and JFB.




These events take place as varied as Patterns, Neighbourhood, The Tempest Inn, The Arch, The Hub, and beyond. Access to Music will host the first ever BMC free under 18s party.
