Giving you a reason to be glad it’s January, The Bugged Out Weekender comes to Butlins in Bognor Regis, on 16 – 18 Jan 2015. A staple in the dance music fan’s calendar, this event regularly features dance music’s freshest and most established talent. 2014 will also see Bugged Out, celebrating its 20 year anniversary, as it continues to act as a pioneer in dance music, predicting trends and discovering new talent.
Packed with cutting edge artists, The Bugged Out Weekender’s massive line-up includes: electronic pioneers Simian Mobile Disco, deep house forefather Kerri Chandler, producer extraordinaire Four Tet – who will be performing at Bugged Out for the first time with his prolific remixes and amazingly broad taste – Godfather of UKG MJ Cole and Twitch & Jonnie Wilkes aka Optimo, whose legendary eponymous Glasgow party pushed boundaries of UK clubbing.
They are joined by Bugged Out stalwart Justin Robertson, Lithuanian producer Ten Walls who will be playing anthems from his debut album ‘Gotham’ live, Illinois-born Dirtybird DJ/producer J:Phlip, fast-rising duos Voyeur and Dense & Pika, BBC 1 DJ and producer B.Traits, fellow radio presenter and First Lady of Deviation, Moxie, XOYO and The Nest resident DJ Kiwi and Bugged Out’s very own family members, Lemmy Ashton and Matt Walsh.
Over the years, the Bugged Out Weekender has developed a reputation for delivering some of the most entertaining ‘extra-curricular’ activities. From The 2 Bears’ wild pool party to Mixmag’s secret rave where 100 people crammed into a four-bed apartment to watch the likes of Jackmaster take to the decks, there’s never a dull moment at the Weekender. This year promises to be no different, with Jackmaster confirmed to host the inaugural Mad Wi It Crazy Golf Tournament.
