The Costume Games encouraged everyone in Brighton to ‘dress up and play’ last week. The brainchild of Brighton’s popular Japanese restaurant MOSHIMO, the event formed part of the opening celebrations to the Rugby World Cup.
Making home in the Old Steine Pleasure Gardens, The Costume Games saw a number of themed events over its five days. These included street art, Japanese electronica, screenings of classic films and casino nights. The weekend also featured cosplay flash mobs, competitions, sing-along musical screenings and more Elvis impersonators than you can shake a stick at.

BN1’s David Smith was there to capture all the action.
