The Fairy Tale Fair are excited to have been asked to curate the first Children’s Day of the Summer at Brighton Open Market on Fri 24 July. Entry is free, and the event will run from 10:30am to 3:30pm with colour goody bags (provided by Kallikids) for the first 100 visitors!

The Fairy Tale Fair is a well-established and well-loved craft fair in Brighton. Launched in 2012 in Patcham, Brighton it has continued to grow and build a loyal following of stall holders and customers. 2015 has been another year of expansion for The Fairy Tale Fair. As well as Children’s Day on Fri 24 July they’ll be back at Brighton Open Market on Sat 15 August with an array of local crafters, makers and designers selling their wares, as well as the markets permanent traders, shops, galleries and cafes to explore too.

The theme of this year’s event is Under the Sea and children are welcomed to come along dressed as a mermaid, pirate or their favourite sea creature or character. Local sellers, workshops, free craft stations, free face painting, a treasure hunt, prizes, films and a visit from the Sealife centre will be featured in the day’s fun packed schedule. If that’s not enough, there will also be a bouncy castle, soft play area and giant connect four with Derek the Dolphin!

Entry to the market is completely free and the venue is fully undercover so no need to worry about the weather. The event will run from 10.30am to 3.30pm and is for one day only so don’t miss it! This is a great opportunity to keep the kids amused for little expense during the holidays.
