Brighton screen-printing studio, The Private Press announced the launch of their latest exhibition, Editions; a collaboration with eight of the UK’s leading contemporary graphic artists to produce a series of limited edition, hand-pulled screen prints showcasing the very best of creative screen-printing techniques. Launching on 1st December with a private viewing at Hotel Pelirocco, where all prints will be available to view throughout December.
Rose Blake, Supermundane (Rob Lowe), Adrian Johnson, Turbo Island, The Stereo-Typist and Brighton based illustrators: Eelus, Esther Cox and Steven Wilson have all produced new artwork exclusively for Editions. The Private Press has used a mix of interesting inks, papers and techniques to produce a small and exclusive run of collectible prints.
Founded by Brighton resident, Gary Parselle, The Private Press has a reputation for beautiful, quality screen-printing. Gary has created Editions as a way of celebrating the infinite possibilities of the creative screen-printing process and to produce affordable, quality prints for fans of contemporary graphic arts.
This collection is the first release in the Editions Series, with the Studio planning to launch new Editions prints on a regular basis in 2017 and beyond, collaborating with a different contemporary artist each time.

Supermundane comments: ‘“I’m a big fan of screen printing and how physical a process it is. I’ve had the pleasure of working with The Private Press on a few projects in the past so I was excited to be asked to be involved in Editions. My print is part of my ongoing ‘You Made This’ project, which explores our fears and desires.”
