Brighton Digital Festival

Things to do this September

Brighton Digital Festival – 13 Sept – 13 Oct

This digital festival celebrates all things of which technology is capable. Expanding the horizons of technology and our engagement with it, this festival will be full of innovative and creative ways that digital technology can be used. Taking place over the course of a month this festival has over 150 events to choose from.

BDF is a platform that supports and encourages people across the city to experience and explore digital technology and culture.
The festival both celebrates Brighton’s creativity, its innovative digital economy and top-level arts scene and provides space for meaningful critique about the role of digital technology in reshaping life and culture.
As the fastest growing digital festival in the UK, with an audience of more than 60,000 in 2016 for 190+ events and a far-reaching reputation, BDF is a vehicle for social change.
It brings together diverse sections of Brighton’s population in new settings, as creators, as audiences and as participants, to help shape the future of the region.

Sky Dining – 20 Sept

Spend an evening in the sky on the British Airways i360. Enjoy a three-course evening meal while watching the lights of Brighton below. Book for an intimate occasion or a group party.

Enjoy a magical three-course meal on the British Airways i360 pod, with the sparkling lights of Brighton & Hove spread out like a carpet beneath you.

Start your evening with a drink from the bar in our exhibition space at ground level before boarding the observation pod, which will be laid for fine dining and decked with romantic white lights.

As the evening unfolds, relax at your table over a glass of wine as the pod glides slowly from ground level to 450ft and back again, watching as the sky darkens, the sun sinks into the sea and the stars appear overhead.

Your delicious starter will be served during the first 25-minute flight, followed by the main course during the second flight, and desserts and coffee during the final flight (view the Sky Dining menu*). There will be a break between each flight to use the facilities at ground level.

Price: £85 per person, including a three-course meal, half a bottle of wine at the table and coffee. Book an intimate table for two, right up to a jovial party of ten. Adults aged 18+ years only.
