Treasure Island sails into Shoreham

Children’s classic Treasure Island is setting sail for Shoreham’s Ropetackle Arts Centre this February half term. Following their incredibly successful Christmas pantomime rendition of Beauty and The Beast, LP Creatives are back with a lively modern spin on the Robert Louis Stevenson classic.

Featuring former CBeebies stars Callum Donnelly, Richard Franks and Robin Hatcher, this adventure won’t disappoint. Witness them take on one of the nations all time favourite children’s novels. Expect an amazing and memorable journey to a world of pirates, buried treasure and mystical sea creatures.

The famous story follows the adventure of young Jim Hawkins who finds a map leading to an alleged treasure island. After becoming marooned on the island he gets caught into a magical adventure with pirates like Billy Bones, Sneaky Beaky and of course the famous Long John Silver. Their search for the notorious buried treasure leads to twist after twist.

Expect a suspense-filled show emblazoned with colour and comedy, with no shortage of sea shanties, cheering and booing. As always the sets and costumes are guaranteed to be elaborate and colourful.

Described as a “laugh a minute show”, it will make for the perfect half term outing. Guaranteed fun for all the family, this is a show not to be missed.

Performances at 10.30am & 1.30pm on Weds 22nd Feb
